It's Almost That Time
It's October and we are nearing the end of the year and season for the Vegas Bladerz Eclipse Season. Last week was the CAVE tournament, which we will go over, and next week on the 17th is a BBAX Pro Series Tournament. We have a lot of tournaments coming up in the last few months of the year, so let's take a look at everything happening in Vegas for Beyblade X!
How Was CAVE?

The Cosplay & Anime Vegas Expo (CAVE) has completed their first year and it went off without a hitch! We had players from various states come to Vegas to compete. With 67 players competing for the chance to win prizes worth a total of $20,000!!! First place won the custom wrapped BMW (see below), Second place got a custom built gaming PC, and Third place got a Camera bundle. Then top 8 places also got store credit for Beys&Bricks and Mall Of Toys!
Right now we are already helping the CAVE owner prepare for next years tournament. Be sure to follow us and the Vegas Bladerz social accounts for more information about next years event!

BBAX Pro Series Tournament
Coming up next week on October 17th is another one of Slims BBAX Tournaments. This one is a Pro Series tournament that has an age limit to it as well. This is due to the rules for BBAX and not a Vegas Bladerz decision. We would love to have everyone compete in any tournament they want to, but rules are rules for the BBAX. Below is the flyer with all the information regarding the tournament. If you are planning on competing, we will see you there at Fuku Burger on the 17th!

Eclipse Tournament
On Saturday November 21th is the end of the current season and with it the End of Season Tournament. This is our regular large tournament at the Vegas Vista Academy. This time we are moving the start time to 11am so there is enough time for the tournament as we have grown considerably as a community since the end of the last season. There will be a blog post later this month with all the info for this tournament.
After this season we are doing an extended break with the holidays coming up. We wanted to make sure everyone has time to get things done and spend time with their families. This doesn't mean that there's no more tournaments for the rest of the year. Just that the next season will not start until the new year. This also gives players time to experiment and try goofy combos without the worry about losing their ELO ranking.
Liam's Winter Fest Tournament
One of the local players is going to hosting their first tournament as a thank you to the Vegas community. This tournament is going to be on December 5th at Uncle’s Tapas Bar and Grill on Eastern and Pebble. The time for the tournament has not been determined yet. Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the tournament.
Many Realms $500 Cash Prize Tournaments

Many Realms has been a weekly staple with early Saturday morning tournaments at their Hub location on Dean Martin. Currently that are building out the play space that will accommodate up to 64 players! With this they will also be starting a monthly $500 cash prize tournament! No word on when these will start, but there will be a blog post regarding these tournaments!

Now for what's changing with the schedule. Before on Sunday's at Nat20 was the ranked WBO tournaments. Due to the issues with WBO's new system and player consensus, we will be discontinuing the ranked tournaments and switching to a regular tournament with Vegas ELO. The format will remain the same with first to 7 points and top cut. Moving away from WBO ranked allows us to change various things that were not favorable. Such as the top cut being restricted to top 8 with larger amounts of players.
That's all for changes right now, next season we will have more tournaments and team tournaments!
