The Beyblade X scene has been growing year after year, and 2026 has been the biggest so far and it's only March! The scene first started back in 2024 with a small group at Knight & Day Games which quickly grew to a weekly tournament of over 40 players on average. There was also smaller tournaments at My4Sons every week too, but nothing compared to the constant turnout at KnD.

Unfortunately it did not last that long. As the owner of Knight & Day gave us various reasons but nothing solid during our conversation that the Beyblade tournaments would no longer be hosted there. Shortly after this the awesome people at Many Realms were there to help pick us up and offer us a space to start the weekly tournaments again!
Since then we have worked with other stores to get more locations and have a constant stream of tournaments every week. These include Many Realms, HobbyOne Japan, Natural20 Gaming, Tier 1, and Downtown Hobby 9. We also have been holding a weekly tournament at Desert Breeze Park every Friday, which has been a more casual event than anything.

Since then we have had a great turnout at all locations and the scene has been growing since! There have been some ups and downs obviously, not everything is always perfect.
The store Downtown Hobby 9 (DTH9) started off strong with a large group of new players that were originally Tamiya racers. But they never had a consistent schedule, product was always overpriced compared to other stores in town and online, and the final nail in the coffin was they just stopped Beyblade tournaments entirely without a reason as to why. I personally think when they increased the entry fee from $5 to $10, there was a significant decrease in attendance. Before the price change they had an average of 20-30 players, after there was maybe 8 on average.
There has also been a lot of issues with Tier 1, most of which is due to the issues with their management changing. They have also said they would like to help get the scene bigger at the store but then constantly cancel our events. The judges are discussing if we should continue having tournaments here due to this.
Now enough with the bad news, more on the good news!
First we have Momo's Models as an official sponsor for the Las Vegas Bladerz! With this partnership this now brings it up to 3 locations that Momo's Models is sponsoring! This includes South Texas, SoCal, and now Vegas!
Next up, the Vegas Bladerz had their first seasonal tournament this year, the Lunar Tournament! This marked the end of the first season of the year for them that also coincided with the Chinese Lunar New Year, which is why it was called the Lunar Tournament. There were over 60 players and even more spectating! There were also a ton of prizes and raffles to give out during the event. Including these custom deck boxes from Momo's Models.

Shortly after the Lunar tournament was the Top-16 Invitational Tournament. This was only for the best of the best during the Lunar Season for Las Vegas! Once that was over, the new season has started for Vegas called Chronos! This season lined up with the start of Daylight Savings Time and we wanted to see if anyone could bring down the constant giants of last season!
There's more to come this year in the Las Vegas Beyblade scene! Soon we will be starting up a Team system for added fun for players; and also the start of official WBO Ranked Tournaments! Now that the owner of Momo's Models is both an official Judge and Organizer for WBO, we will start hosting tournaments to start climbing up the global leaderboard!
Stay tuned for more info to come regarding all the new stuff to play Beyblades here in Las Vegas!
