EVO 2026

EVO 2026 here in Las Vegas has come and gone and it was a blast, for the most part. The good is we had over 80 players from all around the globe compete! Players were having fun for the first few rounds and it was a great time!

Everything was going pretty smoothly for the most part, until the pools for the fighter games started. This caused massive delays for multiple rounds and a lot of players getting DQ'd because of it. There were some players that could not be DQ'd as they were the organizers for EVO. This caused multiple delays that lasted for over 2 hours each time. 

The tournament started at 11am and didn't conclude until close to 8pm! As a certified WBO Organizer, this is absolutely ridiculous! It wasn't even swiss format, it was double-elimination! They even said they wanted to make it a 2 day event next year where the Vegas judges had to tell them that would be an awful idea as most players didn't even come due to the high price of just coming to EVO. So if next year is 2 days and requires passes for multiple days, we just won't help out then as they don't seem to be accommodating to the volunteer judges.

We did talk to another organizer who seems to be higher up than those who hosted Beyblade and aired our grievances from the way things were ran that day.

Will we be back next year? That depends on a lot of things honestly. If the Vegas Bladerz can take control of hosting and fully running the future Beyblade tournaments at EVO, then yes we will be back. If not, that really depends on a lot of factors. We are here for the community, while it seems like those hosting the EVO Beyblade tournament are only in it for themselves. 

Local Tournaments

Here in Las Vegas, the tournament scene is changing a little. First we will start with the bad, well more like the unfortunate. HobbyOne Japan has put their tournaments on hiatus for the time being and will update us when they decide to resume them. Currently because of the scalpers buying up all the product in Japan, it has become almost impossible for them to get product into their store. Recently they did get a shipment in which they also claim was a miracle. Currently they do still have some product left, but more than half has already been bought up by the local players within the first few days. My guess is that once they can get a steady flow of product into their store is when they will resume tournaments, but that is still just a guess.

New Locations

The Vegas Bladerz tournament organizers have been hard at work in the background trying to find more places to host tournaments. At the moment we are in talks with Brad's Toys on Windmill and Fuku Burger in south Buffalo to add some more tournaments. 

Brad's Toys

We are still waiting for confirmation on Brad's Toys before we can start hosting there. The current word is we are waiting for them to move product around in their warehouse where we will have a designated spot for tournaments. We are still deciding if we want this to be a weekly or monthly tournament due to the location.

Fuku Burger

For Fuku Burger, we have just started talking with them but more progress has been made here. We will probably start hosting tournaments on Thursdays starting next week (7-9-2026)! We will keep everyone updated in the Vegas Bladerz Discord regarding this new location. 

Current Locations

More locations are in the works and we are trying to get places around the valley so we don't have so many tournaments in the Blue Diamond/Henderson area. For current tournaments we have 3 locations that are still active, Desert Breeze, Many Realms, and Natural Twenty.
